WOG donated UAH 2 million for electronic warfare equipment as part of the Invisible Shield fundraising campaign

The WOG filling stations network has joined the large-scale Invisible Shield fundraising campaign organised by the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation. Its goal is to provide the National Guard units with electronic warfare equipment. The company has donated UAH 2 million from its own profits. However, together we are able to do more. Therefore, WOG invites the PRIDE community to join in to raise the funds as soon as possible.

Unmanned aerial vehicles have become the latest weapon to change the situation on the battlefield. However, there is a huge density of enemy UAVs at the front. Electronic warfare equipment can effectively counteract their activity. According to the military, the advantage at the front will be given to those who build an extensive system to counter enemy UAVs as quickly as possible.

“The team of our foundation has thoroughly studied the technical features of electronic warfare equipment and tested it in cooperation with the military. As of now, we have an understanding of what types of electronic warfare devices are needed to ensure effective protection of our military in their positions against enemy drones. Therefore, we will purchase various types of equipment — dome, broadband, backpack and for installation on vehicles and armoured vehicles. This will provide our defenders with an invisible shield. We are grateful to our partners of the WOG filling stations network for their contribution and invite everyone to support this project with their donation,” says Serhiy Prytula, founder of the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation.

This will allow us to establish interaction between electronic warfare equipment and UAV units, better protect trenches and dugouts, and reduce the impact of enemy drones and UAVs.

Every customer of the WOG filling station network can join this extremely relevant fundraiser. To do this, you need to donate any of the accumulated bonuses in the PRIDE app to the Invisible Shield, and the company will convert them into hryvnias and transfer them to the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation for the purchase of electronic warfare devices. Or you can directly donate any amount to the project using the bank details listed at the foundation’s website. The fundraising will last until the end of May.

“In 2022, the words of the year were “bayraktar” and “javelin”, in 2023 — FPV drones, 2024 was the year of “EWs” and “ground robots”. As part of the WOGON of Help project, the WOG filling stations network supported the Invisible Shield fundraising. Everyone who also makes a contribution will help to cover our military and our equipment on the battlefield,” emphasises Gennadiy Karlinsky, Marketing Director of WOG filling stations.

Let’s switch on the invisible shield against enemy drones over our defenders together!
