An all-terrain vehicle purchased as part of the UNITED24 and WOG project “Rescuing Our People, Wherever They Are” was handed over to Kherson region
The first all-terrain rescue vehicle “Bohun-2”, purchased under the UNITED24 and WOG initiative “Rescuing Our People, Wherever They Are”, went to Kherson region, where the SES team is waiting for it. It is now ready to perform tasks in the flooding zone.
The all-terrain vehicle is equipped according to the request of the State Emergency Service: a towing system, an additional battery, removable passenger seats, a stretcher for the transportation of victims with a system of attachment to the rotorcraft, a special loudspeaker, lighting devices, etc.
“We planned the project “Rescuing Our People, Wherever They Are” in advance. News from Kherson region prompted us to speed up its start. On the very first day, we made a prepayment to purchase an all-terrain vehicle, which we decided to hand over to the State Emergency Service in Kherson region to rescue people affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric station. As part of the project, next all-terrain vehicles will be handed over to the National Guard of Ukraine. For them, all-terrain vehicles are an opportunity to quickly evacuate the wounded from places that are difficult to reach for conventional evacuation equipment,” Andrii Pyvovarskyi, managing director of WOG Holding BV pointed out.
“We go on helping the rescuers who are eliminating the effects of the Russian terrorist attack at Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant 24/7,” Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science & Technologies — Minister of Digital Transformation says. “This is one of the first all-terrain vehicles that went to the Kherson region. Heavy equipment will also be delivered there to help sift through remains.”
“At the moment, all-terrain vehicles are the main evacuation transport in Kherson region. The water is receding, and it is simply impossible to get to a large number of locations through rubble and remnants of flooding. The all-terrain vehicle they gave is equipped with everything necessary for rescuing people, so we’ll be able to use it for the delivery of aid, evacuation, and moving the State Emergency Service teams, which still eliminate the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP,” Serhii Kruk, head of SES says.
It is worth reminding that the project “Rescuing Our People, Wherever They Are” was launched on June 7 and aims to provide the Armed Forces with all-terrain rescue vehicles.
To join a good cause, it is enough to fill up your car at WOG with branded Mustang fuel. From every litre bought, the company transfers 1 hryvnia for the purchase of rescue all-terrain vehicles. Besides, you can make a donation into our Monobank jar. All funds are for ATVs via UNITED24.
