14 June 2017

The modern laboratory for monitoring quality of liquefied gas, GLOBUS-PETROLEUM LLC (Boryspil, Ukraine), successfully passed state accreditation for conformity to the requirements of the new version of the DSTU ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 standard at the National Agency of Ukraine for Accreditation in August 2019. The laboratory closely cooperates with the WOG Company.

The accreditation certificate proves that the laboratory conforms to the requirements of the DSTU ISO / IEC 17025: 2017. This indicates the competence, objectivity and independence of the laboratory’s work. The certificate confirms that the laboratory can perform liquefied gas tests according to the national standards, which also comply with the international and European standards.

Now the laboratory can carry out full-fledged certification tests to determine compliance with DSTU EN 589: 2017.

“WOG makes every effort to create a quality control system for both petroleum products and liquefied gas. We care about the quality of the products that we sell in our gas station network. This is why the accreditation of our reliable partner in the field of quality control is a very important event. We are eager to know that the quality of petroleum products and gas is tested in a laboratory that has the status and competence of other well-known international accredited laboratories. It should be mentioned that prior to accreditation, a lengthy preparatory work was carried out, and large investments were made to upgrade the laboratory,” commented the WOG company.

The gas laboratory utilizes measurement and control equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers. Quality control specialists can quickly perform laboratory tests of liquefied gas samples to monitor all parameters.
