The coffee segment continues to grow as showcased by the investment from one of Ukraine’s leading gas station brands.
Ukrainian gas station operator WOG purchased 100 interactive coffee machines from Franke for a total amount of over UAH 40 million ($1.7 million), reports Nefterynok.
In a move that shows the increasing importance of the coffee segment in the Ukrainian fuel retailing market, the machines will be installed in the first quarter of 2020 in WOG’s most active sites.
“At WOG we strive for a comprehensive customer care, providing high-quality service in all areas. We want to provide our customers with the best coffee and soft drinks. Therefore, the company continues to invest heavily in equipment,” said Maxim Pyatakov, director of catering at WOG.
The new generation coffee machine FRANKE A1000 is a high-performance and compact machine that allows users to simultaneously prepare a number of drinks.
WOG’s network of gas stations is one of the five largest in Ukraine with some 500 sites. All petroleum products in the WOG network are exclusively imported and comply with Euro-5 standard.
