WOG to transfer over UAH 7 million to generators for hospitals

According to the results of “Donate like crazy” campaign, which took place in WOG gas station network until Black Friday, the company will transfer UAH 7,285,630 from its own profit to purchase backup generators for hospitals. This is another important step in the direction of helping Ukrainian doctors, to provide help and save lives without interruption even in energy terror conditions.

The “Donate like crazy” campaign was implemented within the framework of the comprehensive project the WOG gas station network and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine – “Generators of Light”. In this project, WOG undertakes energy audit, financing, procurement, logistics and turnkey installation of generators. The Ministry of Health determines the list of priority hospitals to provide with generators.

“We are grateful to every customer who joined the “Donate like crazy” initiative and came to the WOG gas station to fill up their car. For every litre of fuel purchased, our company donated 3 hryvnias from its own profit to purchase additional generators for hospitals, where the medical workers heroically save people's lives and health. Ukrainians once again proved that unity is our strength, and they are ready to come to help where it is most needed now”, Hennadii Karlinskyi, marketing director of the WOG gas station network emphasized.

It should be recalled that the first generator purchased as part of the “Generators of Light” project has already been received by Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 3. The other hospitals will receive generators before the end of the year.
